Overview

Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê was founded durring the late 12th century in spring of the year 1063, by Treshesèj Zêbmêpí. The establishment of Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê's construction back out of the project. Treshesèj Zêbmêpí pushed on reguardles, and Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê is buildings are built arround a single premissive cobblestone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The town's frontieer-style defences have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê’s streets. Yet, deep down, you know this atmosphere is a carefully created illusion. You can see the ocasional seam in their tapestry. You’re not sure what has them doing their best to act so carefree, but act carefree they do.

Cultural Notes

Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

In Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê tiny harmless tornadoes plague the town.

The Siren near Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.

Vêvè-bèmî Fêqê's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves orgies to channel Necromancy energies of tier 1 via recitation of poetic epics.
